There Is Life in All Things is a documentary about Peter Chan and his search for beauty through the art of bonsai. Peter is a bonsai book author who became well known in the UK after migrating from India during the India-China war in the late 1960s. When we met, he was 84 years old, an age from which time is perceived and inhabited in a different way. The film takes us through his life and his experience with these small trees that demand years of patience and care, showing how, through his understanding of time and movement, he shapes nature.
